The character's surroundings takes a big part of the illustration’s atmosphere, helping us imagine who they are, and what they're like. What's left to wonder is, who is this photo taken for? is it taken for herself, to cherish

a moment where she wanted to remember, appreciate or ponder on who she is and what she looks like? Perhaps it was taken for a lover? Was it easy to take, or are there many

similar versions with slight pose changes on her photos app?

It's a revolutionary approach to the age-old practice of painting nude subjects, and one that finally allows the model to portray themselves how they would like to be seen. After all, thanks to camera phones, poses can be instantly reviewed and discarded until the perfect picture is taken.
