Hi, I'm Cookie Moon.
I create illustrations and designs for various clients and have shown videos in screenings and festivals around the world. I also co-founded music label, Unterman.
I am interested in the ability to create ‘something out of nothing’ and consider it the purest way to translate my thoughts into objects. After studying film for four years, I realized I was looking for something else, a simpler form of creation that could be made purely. I felt constricted by the use of a camera, which could only capture the reality in front of my eyes, even if fiction. This is when I started working with painting. Going back to the roots of the creative process, where pigments and brushes create a moment, frozen in time, forever displayed and celebrated as the most important moment of all.
